The Undergraduate International Studies Fellowship (UISF) supports international study. UISF recipients are awarded up to $2,500 toward academic research or study in an international setting. Although the fellowship encourages students to study in Africa or in an African diaspora country, there are no restrictions on the intended country of study. And, ideally, students are prioritizing research on communities within or topics relevant to communities of the African diaspora. Students who are enrolled full-time, in good academic standing, and plan to travel abroad in the summer or fall, are eligible to apply.
