North Carolina U.S. Senate candidates Cal Cunningham (D) and Shannon Bray (L) will take questions directly from constituents at a town hall on Monday, Oct. 5, at 3:30 p.m. EDT. The North Carolina 2020 U.S. Senate Race Town Hall is an opportunity for voters to engage directly with Senate candidates about the issues that matter most to them. Jeff Tiberii, Capitol Bureau Chief at WUNC and host of the WUNC Politics podcast, will moderate the discussion.

Members of the public can submit questions for the candidates to https://bit.ly/2ZXIrGC by Friday, Oct. 2. This event will be streamed live to facebook.com/stonecenter/live and have Spanish and English captions. You do not need an account to view the livestream.

The town hall is hosted by the Sonja Haynes Stone Center for Black Culture and History at UNC-Chapel Hill and the League of Women Voters of Orange, Durham and Chatham Counties, Inc., with co-sponsorship by the Center for Family and Community Engagement at NC State, the Graduate and Professional Student Federation at UNC-Chapel Hill, the Institute for the Arts and Humanities at UNC-Chapel Hill, the Institute of Politics at UNC-Chapel Hill, the League of Women Voters of North Carolina, NC State Student Government, and the Triangle Native American Society.
