Join us Monday, April 23 for an evening with Kenneth Morris, Jr. and Robert Benz of the Frederick Douglass Family Initiatives (FDFI) as the Stone Center commemorates the bicentennial of Douglass’ birth. Morris is the great-great-great grandson of Douglass as well as the great-great grandson of Booker T. Washington. He and Benz, the Executive Director of FDFI, will discuss the life, legacy, and relevance of the historical icon; a Q&A session and book signing will follow their presentation. 

The lecture program will begin at 7pm in the Hitchcock Room at the Stone Center. Although this event is free and open to the public, it is highly recommended for participants to register prior to the event date.
